As some of you may have noticed, the Henge Docks website recently received a bit of a makeover. Last Thursday, we launched a newly designed site after four years of its previous iteration. With a completely different interface and updated color scheme, our new site was built not only to present a cleaner, vibrant and effective aesthetic - to represent who we strive to be as a company - but also to provide a straightforward shopping experience for our customers. After six weeks of development, the launch exceeded our expectations.
On our new home page, you’re introduced to the Henge Docks Family - all of our docks. And where does a family dwell? In a home, of course! Which is why we recently adopted a new motto, “Welcome home, Apple.” This isn’t a novel idea for us, as we’ve always prided ourselves on offering the first and only truly comprehensive of Apple docking solutions - in a sentence, homes for your Apple devices. “Welcome home, Apple” is simply putting the work we do and the philosophies we follow into words.
In addition to showcasing our products in a polished manner, our redesigned Henge Docks site is meant to spotlight our love of and emphasis on great design. We are truly a design driven company - we fell in love with Apple because of their elegantly executed devices, and strive every day to make products that meet and exceed those impeccable standards, both in form and function.
As with any website launch, we encountered our share of challenges, which we began addressing as soon as they surfaced. We promptly resolved minor channel concerns with email. There was also some slight confusion surrounding our pre-order pages for the Vertical Retina Docks (which will be out at the end of this month) and our Horizontal Docks (due out this fall), which we are in the process of ironing out. Overall, the launch has gone smoothly, and we’re very proud of the new website! We invite you to have a look around our relaunched Henge Docks site. We appreciate any feedback you might have, so if you have any ideas, concerns or issues with the site, be sure to let us know either in the comments, or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
