Ebay Posting

One of our more enterprising customers put a Henge Docks unit up on Ebay a few days ago.  We are currently sold out, but the 13-inch MacBook Pro unit for sale originally had an MSRP of $64.95.  A reader tipped us off to the auction and you can imagine our surprise when we visited the link and found the dock selling for almost $200 with two days left on the auction!  Uhhh, we're not really sure how we feel about this. I see that you have several refurbished docks available on eBay now. I put in a few bids, but I wish you had a “buy it now” price as well.

We actually debated about what a “fair price” would be for the refurbished docks, since we only have a handful we decided to let the market just do its thing. The next order of 13-inch units is in production right now, so it should be a matter of weeks before they are ready to be ordered again!

You bet! Unfortunately it takes a really long time to get stuff from the other side of the globe, even today. We’re working as fast as we can to get the rest of the models out!

Um, wouldn’t this be a sign that it’s best not to be sold out on, or not yet producing, every single model listed on your Web site? Any timing on when the dock for the latest 13-inch MacBook Pros in particular will be available? It has been weeks since I placed a “preorder.”
